We treat AI as the finishing layer, not the whole film. Physical blocking and lighting set the truth of every shot, and generation paints on top of it. The same approach runs our animation, with 2D boards and 3D previs under every painted frame. That is why our characters stay on model and our cameras stay steady.

About the studio
An independent creative studio and production company, built for the way films get made now.
We work with filmmakers, studios and brands to develop original stories, cinematic experiences and production workflows that combine traditional filmmaking craft with emerging technology. Our focus is not AI for its own sake, but using it as a practical creative and production tool.
Our previsualization work helps directors and producers explore sequences, environments, performances and visual ideas before committing crew, budget and schedule to a shoot.
Our hybrid production practice brings together generative AI, 3D, VFX and traditional production techniques to create finished content with greater speed, flexibility and creative control: films, 2D and 2.5D animation, micro series and brand campaigns.
Alongside production and creative consulting, we develop original film, television, animation and micro series IP, with a particular interest in ambitious worlds, culturally distinctive stories and perspectives that have historically been underrepresented on screen.

Issa Sissoko, AI filmmaker
Amissa Studios was founded by Issa Sissoko, an AI filmmaker and creative technologist whose background spans filmmaking, advertising, emerging technology and creative direction. He regularly speaks about the practical integration of AI into filmmaking, including at TIFF 2026.
Our work and collaborations span entertainment and brands. We have collaborated with Antoine Fuqua, provided creative consulting for Doug Liman, and worked with Darren Aronofsky's team on a project for TIME. Brand and studio experience includes Coca-Cola, Netflix and Amazon.
